About MUWCI & the UWC movement

UWC's mission statement is: to use education as a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

UWC promotes intercultural understanding and the development of genuine concern for others, founded on shared life experiences.

Community interaction is placed at the heart of college life, and Mahindra UWC of India was founded in order to encourage an exchange between UWC students and nearby villages, to help increase prosperity and improve opportunities for local children.

Students from all corners of the globe live together on campus and follow the IB program, a two year course which spans languages, sciences, humanities and arts alike.
But apart from academics, the UWC experience includes volunteering in the local community, inernational debate, initiating and organising projects, performing and learning how to live together, to name a few.

MUWCI is one of twelve UWCs worldwide (situated in Canada, USA, Costa Rica, Wales, Norway, Netherlands, Italy, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Swaziland, India, Singapore and Hong Kong). Each one has its own particular character, but all have a common goal in promoting the UWC mission and values.
